We specialize in innovative event coverage that turns live moments into compelling visual stories — our team has covered the Arab Reading Challenge across 14 Arab countries, one of the largest knowledge-driven initiatives in the region.
We also produce high-performing digital content that transforms complex data and human stories into formats built for reach. Our work with the World Food Programme generated over 2 million views in under three months. Based in Cairo and working globally, Humans Visuals brings two decades of hands-on media experience into one agile studio.

Two decades of hands-on media experience, in one agile studio.
Haitham Abu Akrab is a highly accomplished Egyptian producer and director with nearly 20 years of experience in the media industry. Beginning his career in 2006 as a segment producer at OTV, he quickly honed his skills in storytelling and production. Haitham gained recognition for producing and directing over 50 documentaries that explored diverse themes across the Arab world, showcasing his ability to craft compelling narratives.
Driven by a passion for innovation, he founded Handmade Studios and later established Sawarly, where he directed high-profile events like the World Youth Forum and digital content for the Cairo and El Gouna International Film Festivals. His versatility extends to television, where he directed films for the iconic program Sahibat Al Saada for four years, and commercials for brands like Red Bull, Kellogg's, and Floward.
In 2022, he founded Vertical Network to nurture new talent through groundbreaking digital programs. Currently, as the Founder and CEO of Humans Visuals, Haitham is redefining narrative experiences through emotionally-driven content — with recent work spanning high-end productions for the Rotana Group and Aromatic in the Saudi market, alongside impactful collaborations with the United Nations World Food Programme.
